Fisher Island Wedding in Miami

Let’s be honest, we love nothing more than a Miami party (we might be biased) because where else can you throw outdoor soirees all year round? Since it’s still winter for our Northeast friends, we thought we’d warm their hearts with a stunning wedding straight from Fisher Island!

For starters, Fisher Island is a truly remarkable hidden gem for weddings in Miami. It’s a bit of a trek to get out there but completely worth the adventure! Just look at the backdrop it sets for this wedding. With its limestone floors and just-ornate-enough decor, it strikes the perfect balance of luxury and elegance for a celebration! The sweeping staircase, decorated with sculpture busts, opened up to the escort card table, topped with a blooming arrangement of flowers from Petal Productions.

When you stepped outside, views of the water surrounded guests as they took their place under a beautifully draped tent – which, did we mention had chandeliers sparkling overhead? Oh My! Occasions dressed the tables in our Preston Bailey Collection Champagne Iris and Crystallize Pebbles linens, creating a beautiful effect throughout the space! Pair that look with tall floral arrangements from Raffi and Petal Productions and the room was truly aglow!

As the party kicked off, lounge furniture from Elements and Accents came into view with a lovely assortment of vintage-inspired pieces and white leather decor, a great place for party goers to rest between songs! Lucky for us, Erika Delgado Photo was there all night to capture the fun. You know how it is in Miami, the party never stops!

Romantic Wedding Inspiration at the Biltmore Estate

Another year, another Valentine’s Day, and another fabulous occasion to celebrate love…as if we didn’t do that enough already! We love any excuse to decorate in shades of pink and red and today is the perfect chance to share a beautiful treat with you. Straight from the gorgeous Biltmore Estate, Rebecca Rose Events dreamed up an impossibly romantic styled shoot that landed in the (print!) pages of Southern Weddings V10. Scroll through and prepare to fall hopelessly in love….

So, the Biltmore Estate. Can we take a minute to soak it in? What a spectacular place full of history and character, and a breathtaking backdrop to this styled wedding shoot. Ornate terraces and seemingly never-ending vistas created a magical spot for this couple and perfectly manicured lawns were just the place to catch up with bridesmaids before the big “I Do.”

When it came time to sit down to eat, drink and be merry, a royal table for 14 was set for guests to enjoy. Rebecca Rose Events set the mood with our White Vine Tulle overlay, an embroidered take on lace, paired over a champagne hued base. Adding in a quintessential touch of color, red napkins were folded delicately atop gilded chargers.

We love the florals, designed by Rebecca Rose Events, in a runner style cascading down the table in shades of blush, red, and burgundy with lush greenery all around. Taper candles nestled into gorgeous brass candlesticks from BHLDN popped up at different heights ranging in color from pretty pink to deep aubergine, giving the tablescape an incredibly romantic feel.

There were details galore at this one and lucky for us, Henry Photography captured every single one! From Bella Figura’s invitation suite, with its delicate gold lettering and red accents, to calligraphy by four different creatives, each giving the day their distinctive touch, nothing was overlooked! Even the escort card display, a vintage console decorated with books covered in whimsical patterns in the day’s color palette, was uniquely fitted to the shoot.

But probably our favorite detail was the couple’s vintage getaway car. With a bright red bag packed ready to go, they jetted off into the day with nothing but love in sight. Congratulations!

A Valentine’s Day Celebration with Friends

With just a week to go we’re looking for gifts and making reservations for Valentine’s Day. And while we love celebrating with our significant others (remember last year’s inspiration?), we’re also thinking Valentine’s Day is for more than just lovers! So this year how about adding in a time to celebrate with friends?

We fell head over heels for this brunch from The Creative’s Loft and think it’s just the way to celebrate the love of friendship! Scroll through to see all the yummy details…

First things first, the spread! With catering from The Blue Table and Thierry Isambert, the snacks were endless. Delicious cheese boards were set next to beautifully topped toast points and decorated with deep purple grapes and shot glasses of butternut soup. Plus the most adorable individual dessert cake from Earth and Sugar, just delicious!

Before sitting down to eat, how about a place to lounge? The Creatives Loft created a space just made for relaxing! Boho-inspired rentals from Unearthed Vintage set the mood with overlapping vintage rugs, leather poufs and the coziest arm chairs ever. A perfect place to have your mimosas!

We love the tablescape! An elegantly simple look, using our Rose Velluto, was set with blush hues accented by deep reds, lush greens and an accent of driftwood. Bringing in just the right touch of luxe, were tabletop rentals from Pialisa. Their assortment of blush and gold plates with gold flatware played so nicely with our Blush Ditsy Napkins and Poetic Blossom Napkins. Anchoring the table with a welcoming feel were our Sienna Chairs, a table set with love indeed.

We think you should bring in the love on Valentine’s Day as much as possible, with your significant others, your family and your friends. Spread the love!
