Table Designs Inspired by Nature

Environmental Impact X the Nuage Promise

To ensure your linens make an impact without harming the environment, we use energy-efficient machines and environmentally-friendly detergent. Not to mention, we individually wrap each linen using biodegradable bags to ensure it arrives wrinkle-free while shipping in boxes made from 100% recycled material to avoid adding permanent waste. When it’s time to say goodbye to our linens, we partner with nonprofits that take our fabric scraps and use them to make new goods — all to reduce waste while supporting microeconomic initiatives in developing nations.

Earth and Nature Inspiration

Spring is here and there is no better way to celebrate this season of new beginnings than reflecting on the beauty of the great outdoors. As you begin to envision your next event, consider a variety of natural colors such as browns, greens, and ivories while tastefully incorporating earthly objects to achieve the desired organic ambiance.

REAL EVENTS HIGHLIGHTS

Evoke a sense of wonder and whimsy by taking your event outdoors to a magical location surrounded by earthy elements. A natural color palette, twinkling string lights, and dozens of candles complemented the woodsy, fairytale aesthetic of this outdoor soirée.

Intentionally soft colors of this organic, garden-style tablescape gave the scene an ultra-romantic glow while floral compositions with natural styling textures captured the relaxed essence of a garden in spring’s full bloom.

Dare to be a little bold with a lively and luscious color palette balanced by earthly, organic wildflowers. Our Sage Velluto and Blush Lotus Napkin pair perfectly while complementing the understated beauty of the natural surroundings.

Similar to the outdoors, creating layers of textures and colors creates a visually extraordinary effect and is our go-to way to tie an event together. Our Turquoise Oxford Napkins add a subtle pop of color to the muted earthy tones of our Natural Acacia Charger atop our Grey Boho Runner.

There’s not much that is guaranteed to cheer us up more than a bright and airy garden party aesthetic. Opt for light linens, like our White & Gold Gabrielle paired with our Shell Tuscany Underlay, and effortlessly elegant decor to deliver majestic vibes to your outdoor affair.

For an organic, elevated fairytale aesthetic, keep your color palette simple with just a few complementary colors and incorporate texture to create that memorable wow factor, like our White Tulle Wave..

Be Brilliant with our New Shimmer Collection

Why pick just one color on the spectrum when you can have them all? We threw away the rule book when designing our new Shimmer Collection in favor of the pure joy that brilliance inspires. We can attest that all that glitters is not only gold, but also red, fuchsia, orange, aqua, violet, and everything in between.
This collection was inspired by fire, ice and the natural reflection of light. Come explore this prismatic world with us!

Soirée Collection: Bold Patterns and Metallic Textures

With bold shimmery patterns adding to abstract lines woven into subtle metallic textures, our new Soirée Collection lends a sleek and warm atmosphere to any elegant affair. The sumptuous linens are complemented by our new selection of chroma chargers pairing our luxurious new fabrics with opulent chargers will bring unparalleled splendor to any special occasion. We invite you to explore the sophistication of our new Soirée Collection below:

We worked with The J Group Events on this lavish look full of rich metallic hues. Our Lagoon Gramercy linen provides the perfect backdrop for tasteful chargers from Tavola Tabletop and a playful collection of white phalaenopsis orchids down the center of the table. The architectural lines of our Gold & Turquoise Tribeca chairs from our sister brand Nuvole Collection tie seamlessly into the contemporary design. Next, our friends at Petal Productions used our Foam Hendrix as the canvas for their sophisticated table with a pavé of white hydrangeas. Our new Gold Nexus Charger served as the perfect accessory to pair with a soft Sky Velluto napkin.

Our naturally-inspired Glow marble and Natural Dexter linens are ideal for creating a warm, sophisticated environment. The masterminds behind Petal Productions layered a cluster of white hydrangeas over the woven pattern of the Natural Dexter linen for a summery feel. With our new Harmony Charger and the soft texture of our Sand Terra napkin, this look is absolutely fresh. Transitioning to a more cutting edge mood, our Platinum Monacosets a shimmering stage for this mirrored container of vibrant blooms from the J Group Events. Our Silver Rain Napkin and Harmony Charger complete the sleek look.

Cream Taupes to warm grays and charcoal

This soft yet rich vignette from Plan Design Events was curated with one element in mind: modern romance. We love how their lush centerpiece pulls all the different hues of blush from our Rose Hendrix linen, and our Rose Terra napkin makes this setting sweetly complete! Our Gold Moxie Charger paired with Tavola Tabletop’s artistic china and flatware are the finishing touches this tablescape needs to be called perfection.

Blush and Wine

The timeless combination of navy and gold is always a showstopper. Our Indigo Austin adds energy & interest below a clean cascade of crisp white orchids from the J Group. Add our Gold Nexus Chargers and Sienna Velluto napkins, and voila! Plan Design Events opted for deep hues of red and soft pastels to accent our shimmery Midnight Monaco linen. Our Rose Velluto napkin nested between this whimsical china from Tavola Tabletop ties the look together. Finally, fuchsia orchids from the J Group Events are just the pop of color we need to bring this tablescape to life with our Gold Austin linen, Gold Nexus Charger and Vel Royal Lamour Satin Napkins.

This elegant color combination is a staple for galas and other red carpet affairs. Our Black Gramercy linen is strikingly modern when paired with pavés of red roses by the J Group Events, and who can resist the sleek lines of our Gold & Black Tribeca Chairs from our sister company, Nuvole Collection. The subtle lines of our Black Kennedy linen meet their match with our Gold Nexus Charger and Black Metallic Burlap Napkin in this dramatic tablescape. Animal print gets a glam twist with our Black Gianni, inspired by the incomparable Versace. The J Group Events created pops of bright colored centerpieces to contrast with this striking sequined linen. White and Gold Chargers from Tavola Tabletop complete this sumptuous design.

New Aspen Linen: Glorious in every season

The beauty of these fascinating trees found from coast to coast has inspired our latest design: the Aspen Linen. Whether in the summer when the leaves are dark green against the blue skies, or in the fall when their brilliant golden leaves blaze above their sleek black & white trunks, the Aspens have our full attention.

Our new Aspen linen is the ideal neutral canvas for sophisticated and stunning events throughout all four seasons. We enlisted the help of our friends from The Aspen Branch in Aspen, CO, and from two Miami-based designers, J Group Events and Petal Productions, to showcase the possibilities for this earthy, textured linen.

Winter Inspiration

The design visionaries at The Aspen Branch drew upon the serenity of Aspen in the wintertime to deliver the ultimate neutral tablescape. The understated sophistication gives this look a new take on mountain chic.

Spring Inspiration

Our Sky Aspen linen provided a perfectly fresh canvas for this spring-inspired setting by our friends from Petal Productions in Miami. The look, completed with our Olive Terra Napkins and new Whitewash Acacia chargers, is at once as soft and sweet as new spring blooms.

Summer Inspiration

Miami-based Petal Productions imagined peering into a canopy of bright green leaves against a rich blue sky when designing this clean summer concept. Here, our naturally-inspired Earth Aspen Linen provides a rich canvas for a lush arrangement of greenery, and our Pacific Velluto napkins draw out the rich blue hue perfectly!

Fall Inspiration

This warm, modern vignette from J Group Events in Miami was designed with the aspen tree’s most brilliant season in mind: fall. The sleek Dove Aspen linen paired with our Charcoal Terra napkin allows a bright yellow centerpiece to captivate us, just like a show of fall foliage.

Let’s run away this Spring with our Boho Runner!

With Spring in full swing, we’re ready to lighten up and get outside! From brighter colors on the table, a la Solstice Collection, to dining outdoors, especially for brunch, we’re ready to take on the season! And guess what? It looks like we’re not the only ones. In Miami and beyond, it looks like our Boho Runner is becoming a quick favorite and we can understand why! Scroll through and get inspired by these three different ways to style the Boho Runner…

With The White Sparrow in Dallas, Texas setting the backdrop as the perfect location for this barn-inspired wedding, Heather Benge Events brought the spring vibes outside with her styling of the Boho Runner. An intimate setting for four was designed around a vintage wooden table from Love Birds Vintage and contrasting wooden cross back chairs. The floral palette, of creamsicle hues in orange and yellow, gave just the right reminder of what’s to come this season. Our favorite touch, really giving a magical feel to the afternoon, were the hanging lanterns. Blooming trees or not, spring is officially here!

Now let’s take it back to tropical Miami where the spring breeze is blowing! Set against a lush tropical background, this tablescape is an ideal way to dine al fresco, whether a wedding or just a perfect night in. This palette of neutral fabrics, such as our Latte Branches Napkin, with accents of mauve is a beautiful transition from winter to spring. With the use of light wood furniture, including our Maison Dining Table and Maison Dining Chairs,  and Petal Production’s geometric table arrangement, this is a dream combination of modern and rustic wedding style!

If you’re looking to go a classic spring feel, we’re all about this blue and white Chinoiserie look from Ines Naftali Floral & Event Design. This tablescape brings an elegant look to a casual affair. In the Dupont Building, a perfect location for modern Miami weddings, our Maison High Table and Maison Bar Stools, set the space for a laid back cocktail party for twenty-four jovial guests. This blue and white palette, a seasonal favorite, looked stunning as it ran the length of the table, bringing in bright colors to the neutral space.

From modern to rustic, the Boho Runner is really making waves. With its light fabric and dreamy draping, it’s just the runner to welcome in the spring!

How to use Sketching to Design Signature Events

When it comes to designing weddings and events, there are a lot of tools out there. Whether you piece together mood boards or curate Pinterest boards, making sure your client can understand your ideas can be the difference between booking the gig or losing it to someone else. So how do you make sure you can relay your creativity in a way that’ll have your client saying “I do!”? Sketching!

Cue Mary Phan, founder and artist at The Sketchbook Series. Mary launched The Sketchbook Series to inspire and guide creatives on their journey towards turning their ideas into realities, leveraging sketching as a tool to aid communication through the design process. We’ve both attended and sponsored many an event with The Sketchbook Series and are always reminded what an asset it is to have this skill.

We collaborated with The Sketchbook Series in anticipation of their 2018 tour, which kicked off last month, to bring to life some of our own ideas and compare them with event realities. We encourage you take a peek at their upcoming dates and attend a workshop, everyone in our industry could benefit from this skill! Scroll through to see just how powerful sketching can be…

We had thoughts of Bougainvillea and bright blue ikat print on the mind. Mary combined our Cobalt Marrakesh and Natural Wood Verona Chair with table top pieces from Casa de Perrin and floral inspiration shot by Lucy Cuneo to sketch up this tablescape. Just right for an al fresco lunch!

A graphic black and white palette accented with gold details was just the thing we had in mind. Mary set the table with our Black Sedona and Gold Soho Chairs and paired it with black and white pieces from Casa de Perrin, really amplifying the bold geometric effect. To soften the look, she took inspiration from a mossy terrarium arrangement by Kelly Elissa Events & Enchantment Floral.

Anyone else ready for summer? Don’t we know it! Mary brought out the tropics in her sketch with our Beverly linen paired just for the outdoors with our Oak Chairs. Tabletop pieces from BorrowedBlu added a modern touch while florals inspired by Ashley Elizabeth Designs kept everything refreshingly cool.

Want to learn about the process and see some more beautiful sketches Mary created for us? Click here to keep the creativity flowing!

Jewel Tone Velvet Linens for Fall and Winter Weddings

There’s that special something in the air letting us know, Fall is right around the corner and Winter is coming right after! We’re ready to feel the temperatures drop and the indoors get extra cozy! To be honest, we love this time of year when it comes to designing weddings and events!

With that in mind, we are feeling gemstones, jewel tones and the soft touch of velvet for this wedding
season. Last winter we were all about Marsala, this year we are going the whole assortment of colors!

For those looking to lighten up, we found the perfect shade of Turquoise for the fall. It’s deep enough to sparkle like an Aquamarine and bright enough to warm us up too!

Paired with our natural wood Verona Chairs, the Turquoise Velluto has a rustic sensibility to it perfect for an outdoor fall wedding. Give it even more of a boho bride style by adding in pretty pink accents like these raw crystals. With floating candles and the softest touch of blush blooms, the Velluto fabric sets a perfect canvas for this design. Just like this setting, it’s a great way to bring cool fall feels to a tropical setting!

Now, for those looking to go all in on fall colors, we love a deep Ruby red like our Wine Velluto. It sets the mood for a lively holiday feast or a romantic wedding reception.

Paired with our French country-inspired linen Maison Dining Chairs, this color palette creates a rich
atmosphere for dinner guests, especially when set against beautiful blooming Bougainvillea!

Bring in more of those gorgeous jewel tones in purples and oranges across the tabletop and use copper toned accents to tie the look together!

So whatever your event is this season, bring in those fall feelings with an array of gemstone-hued linens in soft velvet-inspired fabrics to really amp up the party. Trust us, we know how to host a good one!
