Bright Inspiration for Spring Wedding Flowers

It’s SPRING! With the change in temps came the bloom of flowers and we are dreaming in the colors of the season. From bright corals to deep fuchsias, the foliage this time of the year has us feeling more inspired than ever! It looks like we aren’t the only ones either. This gorgeous styled shoot from Styled Shoots Across America is on the same wavelength as us, scroll through to check out this perfectly seasonal set up!

Cator Woolford Gardens, in Atlanta, Georgia, set a beautiful backdrop for this shoot. With its trellised walkways and sweeping greens, it’s a dream wedding location. Heather Benge Events took advantage of the landscaped grounds to put together the loveliest lounge setting with furniture from Southern Vintage. We’re gushing over the pretty pink tufted velvet armchairs, just the place for newlyweds to celebrate their nuptials!

And how about that dining location? Nestled between stone columns and tucked underneath overgrown vines, it’s the most romantic little spot! We love how our Sage Plaster linen set the table with soft shades of green and taupe, giving florals by Intrigue Designs room to blossom! And blossom they did! The floral arrangement truly brought Spring feelings to life in lush, cascading shades of pink and orange. What joy!

We’re head over heels for the table top decor, delicate pieces from Tea and Old Roses that tied everything together. Lovely vintage china in matching shades of blush and mint mixed in with mother of pearl chargers and shiny gold flatware to give this tablescape a beautiful shimmer. Rose-colored glassware completed the look giving guests the perfect glasses to cheers with!

From the spring color palette to the garden setting, we’re falling head over heels from this one! And if you’re looking for more spring looks, check out this dreamy Los Angeles styled shoot and get ready to be inspired!

Adding Texture to your Event Design!

Whether it’s a wedding or a social celebration, the best events are really all about tantalizing the five senses. From the setting to the cocktails, you’ve thought of every last detail to make this event incredible, kudos to you! So you’ve hit sight, sound, taste and smell, but did you remember to include touch? If not, we’ve got you covered! From our super soft velvet-inspired Velluto collection to an array of voluminous ruffles and waves, there’s a linen out there for you. Here are three of our favorite ways to have your guests getting touchy-feely at the party…

Amp up the volume with our Blush Tulle Wave, our slightly softer take on our traditional Ruffle linen. The tulle fabric gives you all the perks of texture while adding a romantic feel to your tablescape. Petal Productions paired it with a beautiful arrangement of roses topped with antler adornment. The combination makes for a perfect balance of modern and whimsy!

If you’re looking for lasercut, our Rose Iris overlay from the Preston Bailey Collection is the perfect piece. The floral motif shines in its leather-look fabric with just the right amount of gloss. Smells Like Peonies Events paired it with an assortment of antique brass candleholders that cascaded down the table like a runner. And to keep the look minimal they used clear Kartell-inspired ghost chairs paired with textured pillows, to make guests feel extra comfortable at their seat.

And for the ultimate favorite feeling, let’s get the Velluto! Our softest style yet, it’s a velvet-inspired fabric that’ll have your guests running their hands over the tablecloth all night long. Heather Benge Events styled the Blush Velluto with our Snow Elizabeth Lace napkins just right for an outdoor soiree. We love how the florals played with monochromatic hues to really pop against the linen. *Swoon*

Whether you’re looking for volume in the way of ruffles and tulle, or something that will add a tactile element while laying flat, such as leather and velvet, there’s a linen out there to bring that fifth sense to the party. Your guests will be getting touchy-feely before they even realize it!

A Tropical Welcome with The Welcome Bag Committee!

The date is set, everyone booked their flights and you and your beloved family and friends are jetting to your tropical wedding destination – hooray! Now that they’ve made the trek to soak up some rays for your big day, how can you give them a big warm welcome to the weekend?

Well, Jordan Payne, the founder of Jordan Payne Events, thinks you should have a special gift waiting to…well, welcome them to your wedding! That’s why she launched The Welcome Bag Committee, a service that can both design and provide beautiful, stylish welcome bags for wedding guests. Her fun new venture has a whole range of designs for whatever your wedding style – and, best of all, they double as beautifully curated gifts for any other occasion you’re celebrating!

We may be a little biased but we’re head over heels in love with her tropical-leaning pieces, such as the Palm Envy Tote and the Palm Leaf Blush collection. Can you blame us? They fall right in line with our Palm Springs linen and our Beverly linen from the Solstice Collection! It’s no wonder that we didn’t even hesitate when Jordan dreamed up a styled shoot with pieces from both of our collections, just scroll through to see the magic come together!

Jordan set the table for this styled shoot with our Palm Springs linen, a bright printed linen from our Solstice Collection that has summer written all over it! This style can go for barefoot casual or be dressed up for oceanside glam, which is just the vibe we’re feeling from this design. The glassware, in shades of green, is elegant enough for rose or just right for a margarita – whatever your pick!

How about the floral arrangement? David Kimmel Flowers blew it out of the ocean on this one! Bright blooms in shades of fuchsia and orange were woven in with palm leaves and succulents for an elevated take on a beachside arrangement.

We can’t get enough of the Ceci New York stationery and menu cards! The invitation, with laser cut palm motifs, gold foiling and light wood accents sets the mood for what’s to come on the big day. And the menu card? Cut in the shape of a monstera palm leaf with delicate hand watercoloring, it’s beautiful enough to frame!

The absolute most fun thing to see come together on this shoot was the pairing of The Welcome Bag Committee’s tote bags against our linens. As if one wasn’t already fun enough, the two of them make for a sure-fire fantastic party. We think it’s the perfect way to, as Jordan puts it, “celebrate guests celebrating you!”

A Los Angeles Wedding Shoot at the Muckenthaler Mansion

There really is something in the California air, isn’t there? Whether you’re going for a luxe look or keeping it casual, you can find a little bit of everything on the West Coast. So it’s no wonder that we fell in love with Los Angeles when we saw this gorgeous styled shoot from Styled Shoots Across America. Ready to swoon? Scroll through to see it all…

Can you blame us for falling hard for this one? Just look at the space! The Muckenthaler Mansion is the epitome of a California villa. Its cream colored exterior and terracotta tiles are so beautifully accented with wrought iron details. Add to that lush tropical plants and perfect landscaping and you have just the place for a SoCal wedding!

We are obsessed with this tablescape! Set right on the steps of the mansion, Heather Benge Events designed a lovely place to dine. The cool shades of blue and green from our Aqua Istanbul linen set the base for a succulent rich arrangement of flowers from Intrigue Designs. Blush roses added in just the touch of pink to give this design a romantic feel.

Our favorite part? Probably the dessert station! A selection of decadent treats from Colette’s Catering and Events had us drooling the entire time. And to top it all off, a cake from Nicole Bakes Cakes that played perfectly off of the succulents and colors of the day!

So to say that we’re in love with California would be accurate, but can you really blame us?

Let’s run away this Spring with our Boho Runner!

With Spring in full swing, we’re ready to lighten up and get outside! From brighter colors on the table, a la Solstice Collection, to dining outdoors, especially for brunch, we’re ready to take on the season! And guess what? It looks like we’re not the only ones. In Miami and beyond, it looks like our Boho Runner is becoming a quick favorite and we can understand why! Scroll through and get inspired by these three different ways to style the Boho Runner…

With The White Sparrow in Dallas, Texas setting the backdrop as the perfect location for this barn-inspired wedding, Heather Benge Events brought the spring vibes outside with her styling of the Boho Runner. An intimate setting for four was designed around a vintage wooden table from Love Birds Vintage and contrasting wooden cross back chairs. The floral palette, of creamsicle hues in orange and yellow, gave just the right reminder of what’s to come this season. Our favorite touch, really giving a magical feel to the afternoon, were the hanging lanterns. Blooming trees or not, spring is officially here!

Now let’s take it back to tropical Miami where the spring breeze is blowing! Set against a lush tropical background, this tablescape is an ideal way to dine al fresco, whether a wedding or just a perfect night in. This palette of neutral fabrics, such as our Latte Branches Napkin, with accents of mauve is a beautiful transition from winter to spring. With the use of light wood furniture, including our Maison Dining Table and Maison Dining Chairs,  and Petal Production’s geometric table arrangement, this is a dream combination of modern and rustic wedding style!

If you’re looking to go a classic spring feel, we’re all about this blue and white Chinoiserie look from Ines Naftali Floral & Event Design. This tablescape brings an elegant look to a casual affair. In the Dupont Building, a perfect location for modern Miami weddings, our Maison High Table and Maison Bar Stools, set the space for a laid back cocktail party for twenty-four jovial guests. This blue and white palette, a seasonal favorite, looked stunning as it ran the length of the table, bringing in bright colors to the neutral space.

From modern to rustic, the Boho Runner is really making waves. With its light fabric and dreamy draping, it’s just the runner to welcome in the spring!

A Bohemian Inspired Wedding Shoot With A Touch Of Gold

At heart, we’re really somewhere between being in love with a laid-back bohemian look to the opposite and going for all glitzy and luxe, who can truly decide? Well, when MMD Events put together this styled shoot, a blend of boho cool with the perfect touch of gilded accents, we were beside ourselves! Scroll through to see just how everything came together.

Armature Works Tampa set the tone with their industrial style loft. Exposed brick, beautifully framed windows and endless natural light flooded the room giving it an inviting feel. The tablescape, set with a hanging arrangement of flowers running the length of the table by MMD Events, created a beautiful illusion against the impossibly tall ceilings of the venue.

We love how this table was set! Our Gold Metallic Forest created the canvas for the setting which was highlighted with shades of plum, fuchsia and red. MMD Events combined assorted vintage china with mirrored chargers and Moroccan-inspired colored glassware for a chic look.

The gorgeous hanging florals draped beautifully over the center of the table, hanging above a macrame runner decorated with an eclectic assortment of driftwood, crystals and gold geometric decor. Just look at those votive candles in mercury glass encased by delicate geometric shapes!

Tying everything together was the chair selection, a mix of French-style upholsted pieces from MMD Events’ collection. We adore a mix and match seating look so you can imagine we were over the moon to see high back chairs mixed in with wooden crossback chairs and plush upholstered seating. Bonus points for that luxurious sheepskin throw! Anyone else ready to take a seat at this table?

Romantic Wedding Inspiration at the Biltmore Estate

Another year, another Valentine’s Day, and another fabulous occasion to celebrate love…as if we didn’t do that enough already! We love any excuse to decorate in shades of pink and red and today is the perfect chance to share a beautiful treat with you. Straight from the gorgeous Biltmore Estate, Rebecca Rose Events dreamed up an impossibly romantic styled shoot that landed in the (print!) pages of Southern Weddings V10. Scroll through and prepare to fall hopelessly in love….

So, the Biltmore Estate. Can we take a minute to soak it in? What a spectacular place full of history and character, and a breathtaking backdrop to this styled wedding shoot. Ornate terraces and seemingly never-ending vistas created a magical spot for this couple and perfectly manicured lawns were just the place to catch up with bridesmaids before the big “I Do.”

When it came time to sit down to eat, drink and be merry, a royal table for 14 was set for guests to enjoy. Rebecca Rose Events set the mood with our White Vine Tulle overlay, an embroidered take on lace, paired over a champagne hued base. Adding in a quintessential touch of color, red napkins were folded delicately atop gilded chargers.

We love the florals, designed by Rebecca Rose Events, in a runner style cascading down the table in shades of blush, red, and burgundy with lush greenery all around. Taper candles nestled into gorgeous brass candlesticks from BHLDN popped up at different heights ranging in color from pretty pink to deep aubergine, giving the tablescape an incredibly romantic feel.

There were details galore at this one and lucky for us, Henry Photography captured every single one! From Bella Figura’s invitation suite, with its delicate gold lettering and red accents, to calligraphy by four different creatives, each giving the day their distinctive touch, nothing was overlooked! Even the escort card display, a vintage console decorated with books covered in whimsical patterns in the day’s color palette, was uniquely fitted to the shoot.

But probably our favorite detail was the couple’s vintage getaway car. With a bright red bag packed ready to go, they jetted off into the day with nothing but love in sight. Congratulations!

Top 10 Tips to Creating an Instagram-Worthy Styled Photo Shoot

If you’re familiar with Leah Weinberg, of Color Pop Events, then you know that bold palettes are kind of her thing – she does after all plan weddings for those who dream in color. We’re SO grateful for the incredible concepts she dreams up when it comes to photoshoots, where she really lets her design-tendencies shine, because she brings our linens to life in the most vibrant ways. We picked her brain to get to the core of how she comes up with this stuff (Tutti Fruti? Jackson Pollock? Lisa Frank?!) and got her top 10 tips for designing an awesome styled shoot. Grab a pencil because you’re going to want some notes…

Create something people haven’t seen before. Want to get people’s attention and really wow them? Then you’ve got to show them something new. So many trends have been done to death, so why not be the trendsetter?

Seek inspiration. If you’re going to create something new, then you’ve got to be inspired. Go to a museum. Go see a play. Heck, just go for a walk. There are so many inspiring things all around us that all it really takes is for us to be mindful and open to what we’re seeing.

Have no fear. I know it’s cliche to say “think outside the box,” but in my opinion, the more “out there” the concept is, the better. This is coming from someone who has done shoots inspired by Barbie, Jeff Koons and Lisa Frank (just to name a few), and I can tell you that the weirder your idea is, the more attention you’ll get.

Assemble a dream team of vendors. The secret to creating great images is to have an amazing vendor team supporting you. Make sure you’re working with people you know and trust, and whose style matches your own.

Colors are key. The fastest way to set the tone for your shoot is with your color palette. Choose colors that really speak to the feel of your shoot. They don’t have to be bold (though I would obviously love them to be) but they need to make a statement and really define the theme of the shoot.

A pop of texture is the new pop of color. Want to make people really feel what it’s like to be at your party? Bring in textured linens that will make your audience want to touch and feel everything in your images.

Don’t be afraid to mix patterns and prints. The ability to mix patterns and prints is definitely a gift, but if you can do it well, then you can create something truly unique.

Sweat the small stuff. To have a successful shoot, you’ve got to live in the details. Having as many elements as possible gives you more to photograph and will give more life to your ideas.

Know your angles. Whatever you choose to create, make sure it looks good from every angle. The photographer is going to want to capture your work in as many ways as possible–whether it’s a detail shot of one flower or a head on image of the centerpiece or an overhead photo of the flowers as part of the entire tablescape–so make sure your work is ready for those 360 views.

Have fun. Isn’t that the whole point?

Make sure to follow along with Leah as she plans her way into 2018!

Black and Gold Décor Inspiration for New Years Eve

It’s that time again, the end of the year and preparing to welcome in 2018 with a bang! Last year we were all about bright colors for the celebration, while this year we’re really feeling the gold love. Anchor down those metallics with some luxe black details and we are ready to party!

We worked with Rodri Studio on this lavishly elegant look, full of rich metallic and cascading orchids. The table was set with our Black and Gold Koi linen giving us the perfect base to build this look on. Rodri Studio gave the tablescape a modern feel with square mirrored pedestals topped with minimal arrangements of white flowers, including a centerpiece of cascading white orchids.

Keeping with our gold motif, we added in gilded tabletop accents such as our Clear Charger with Gold Rim and Stone Metallic Faux Dupioni Napkin paired with gold flatware. As for seating, mixing and matching two styles gave the table a fun added dimension! Our Rose Gold Phoenix Chair, an exclusive design, ran down the table with our Gold High Back Wing Chairs anchoring the ends.

Combining a stellar sequin linen with simply chic décor, we think this table is just the place we want to ring in the new year!

Three Ways to Style your Holiday Party!

‘Tis the season! The holidays are upon us and it’s just a countdown to the New Year from here. With Thanksgiving around the corner and December holidays right after, are you ready for those seasonal soirees? You know we love the festivities this time of year (remember our lookbook last holiday season?) and are always looking for fun ways to jazz up the party.

With the help of Sofia Crokos Events and Lifestyle, we have three sophisticated and definitely-not- boring looks to inspire your celebrations this season. So whether you’re hosting Thanksgiving at your place or gearing up to throw a huge corporate event, scroll through to get inspired!

For an intimate dinner, we love how Sofia styled our Champagne Metallic Forest. The linen served as a pretty neutral backdrop to accents of birch wood and bright red blooms from Bastille NYC. It has a minimal feel to it without being cold. Those sheepskins really warmed it up!

We’re obsessed with the tiny snow-capped pine trees placed around the setting, gives it that surprising touch of fun that Sofia is known for.

Kicking it up to the next, incredibly chic design, Sofia used our Navy Blue Sequin Taffeta to set the table. The impossibly elegant combination for black and blue with accents of white and gold is to die for. The settings from The Tabletop Company paired with placemats from Red Bliss Design are a match made in heaven!

Add to that the unique gold vases for Bastille NYC’s Calla lilies, and the geometric shapes across the setting come together to a beautiful effect. This design is fit for a corporate holiday party or a luxe New Year’s soiree!

Taking it back to a traditional winter palette with a twist, Sofia used our Emerald Green Sequin Taffeta to dream up a holiday wonderland! Brightening the tablescape with copper accents, we love how the colors came together for a modern take on a winter design.

The lush floral runner, brimming with bright greens and rich shades of brown, really set the mood for a holiday fete! And with crisp white tapers, sitting in simple copper holders, the design was transformed to a fresh look!

With so many styles to choose from, holiday parties are really a blast! Find your inspiration with these three winter designs (and you can check out some more here too). Here’s to a beautiful season!

Jewel Tone Velvet Linens for Fall and Winter Weddings

There’s that special something in the air letting us know, Fall is right around the corner and Winter is coming right after! We’re ready to feel the temperatures drop and the indoors get extra cozy! To be honest, we love this time of year when it comes to designing weddings and events!

With that in mind, we are feeling gemstones, jewel tones and the soft touch of velvet for this wedding
season. Last winter we were all about Marsala, this year we are going the whole assortment of colors!

For those looking to lighten up, we found the perfect shade of Turquoise for the fall. It’s deep enough to sparkle like an Aquamarine and bright enough to warm us up too!

Paired with our natural wood Verona Chairs, the Turquoise Velluto has a rustic sensibility to it perfect for an outdoor fall wedding. Give it even more of a boho bride style by adding in pretty pink accents like these raw crystals. With floating candles and the softest touch of blush blooms, the Velluto fabric sets a perfect canvas for this design. Just like this setting, it’s a great way to bring cool fall feels to a tropical setting!

Now, for those looking to go all in on fall colors, we love a deep Ruby red like our Wine Velluto. It sets the mood for a lively holiday feast or a romantic wedding reception.

Paired with our French country-inspired linen Maison Dining Chairs, this color palette creates a rich
atmosphere for dinner guests, especially when set against beautiful blooming Bougainvillea!

Bring in more of those gorgeous jewel tones in purples and oranges across the tabletop and use copper toned accents to tie the look together!

So whatever your event is this season, bring in those fall feelings with an array of gemstone-hued linens in soft velvet-inspired fabrics to really amp up the party. Trust us, we know how to host a good one!

Destination Wedding Inspiration in Provence, France

Oh boy, you are in for a real treat today, all the way from Provence, France! It’s no surprise that we love a destination wedding (see here dreamy beachside nuptials in Tulum, Mexico) and this styled elopement from Cassie Cherneski of Flaire Weddings and Events is no exception!

First of all, Provence, you are gorgeous! The setting for this one, at the Abbaye Saint Eusebe was an
incredible location. From the elegantly simple ceremony inside the abbaye to the perfectly manicured
grounds where the table was set, the backdrop could not have felt more magical.

Dinner was set between the Cypress trees right at magic hour with the setting sun casting dreamy shadows across the grounds. Inspired by the natural palette of the region, with its medieval stone walls and fields of lavender abound, Cassie designed a centerpiece overflowing with pastel shades of lilac, blush and ivory accented with delicate greenery.

Our Lilac Velluto linen, with its soft velvet feel, set the base for the table with a wispy runner flowing in the wind, a nod to the linen textiles of France. And to give it a touch of modern sensibility driftwood chargers and black flatware, from The Treasury Rentals by Emily Grace Designs, were combined with romantic taper candles in assorted brass candlesticks.

And the lovely couple, the bride in her two-piece gown from Eddy K Italia and the groom in a perfectly
tailored suit, was the epitome of romance on this gorgeous day. We’ll definitely keep this one in mind as we gear up for fall, with this beautiful color palette and velvet inspiration on the brain!
