Henna Inspired Sangeet Linens in Bright Colors!

There are bright colors everywhere, intricate henna designs being delicately drawn on guests and the best dance party ever taking place…where are we? Welcome to a Sangeet party! This gorgeous one in particular from Kate & Co. took place at the beautiful Overlook Farm, just outside of St. Louis, and has us so excited!

From the location to the décor (you know how we love pink!), it’s not a party to miss! We are so obsessed with this color palette; from fuchsia to orange and about a million shades in between, this is a stunner! Festive Couture’s assortment of wild flowers added a beautiful touch to the décor, tying in the farm-feel with tin vases on the farmhouse tables.

We love how they played so well with our Pink Hemp Flocking and Orange Hemp Flocking linens, bringing out the bright hues while letting the Paisley Henna- inspired patterns shine!

The night wrapped up in a wild dance party, with the bride in her Anushree Reddy outfit, and the groom tearing up the dance floor with their friends to the sounds of DJ MOMA. If this is the Sangeet, can you just imagine what the wedding was like?

Summer Road Trip with Nüage Designs!

What a trip we have had! From our hometown of Miami, up the east coast, out west to California with a final stop in New Orleans, we have had one fun time with our event industry friends. We had a chance to see some of their newest wedding and event designs and pepper in some local advice for summer fun.

Check out the lookbook below to relive the journey for yourself!

Summer Greenery Inspiration

On a sunny summer day there’s nothing more wonderful than stopping to smell the flowers and this styled shoot from Events by Elle shows this all too well!

With a greenhouse inspired space at Miami’s Little River Studios as a backdrop, Wedding Nature Photography captured stunning photos of this barefoot bride dream.

The dainty stationery suite, adorned with Papel and Co. calligraphy adds the perfect shade of blush to this neutral palette, set against our White Sand Tuscany linen.

And to flowers? Anthology Co. put together the loveliest arrangements to add a little touch of whimsy to the day.

Our absolute favorite thing of this inspirational shoot is the space created to share the couple’s “I Do’s.” With seating set by our oak chairs, and white pillar candles intertwined with ivy leading to a gorgeous ceremony space, it’s a fairytale location for a wedding!

Traditional Weddings Inspired by History

Inspiration comes from in many ways. Often we are looking for what’s current and what’s coming when we should be exploring what’s in the past to find something refreshing. We did just that when we looked back to our own history here at home to find some traditional wedding inspiration to pair alongside an elegant styled shoot from Lindsay Bishop Events.

So, you can imagine our delight looking through this impeccable styled shoot from Lindsay Bishop, who not only planned and designed but also put together the lush florals for the day!

From a navy and white color palette to ornate silver décor, the details are everything in this inspirational wedding photo shoot! Clay Austin Photography captured every little thing not just on digital but on film as well – be still my heart!

We’re obsessing over the tabletop silver, from the serve ware to the punch bowl, borrowed from Terrace Oaks Antique Mall and Gryphon Estate Silver, and how perfectly it pairs with the simply sophisticated china from Sasha Nicholas and against our Navy Jamestown toile linen. Add to that Hatch Cove Designs’ stationery suite with grey-hued calligraphy, a dainty touch to tie it all together!

Of course this all came to life in the heart of Charleston at The Old Exchange, a location oozing with history’s sweet secrets. From cobblestone streets to old seaports, we’ll be keeping an eye for historical inspiration from here on out!
