A Bright Orange and Blue Styled Shoot for Summer Weddings!

When it comes to wedding color palettes, we love seeing bright hues introduced. Everything from colorful floral arrangements to festive morning-after brunches get us very excited. So, needless to say when this set of vibrant images from Styled Shoots Across America came our way, we were head over heels! Scroll through to see this bold blue and orange styled shoot…

Heather Benge Events took us to the Melrose Knitting Mill, in Raleigh, North Carolina for a warm and intimate inspirational wedding photoshoot. Magic hour lighting streaming in through oversized windows gave the loft-like space a dewy glow. Just look at how the exposed brick wall warms up with those ribbons of light!

In the center of the room, under sparkling crystal chandeliers, was the real show stopper. A tablescape set with our Cobalt Marrakesh brightened up the room with its bold ikat-inspired pattern. Intrigue Designs created the most unreal floral design to top it all off. We’re in love with the arrangement of orange, blue and deep red flowers that came together in such a vibrant way. Our Sky Western napkins tucked right around calligraphed menus from Chickadee Dixie adding a metallic touch to the delicately water-colored cards.

This lovely styled shoot brought together two of our favorite things – bright colors and bold patterns. Do you go all in on these? Find some more inspiration in our Solstice Collection!

Tropical Inspiration for Bright Summer Weddings

Memorial Day is right around the corner and with it, the unofficial first day of Summer! And just in time to coincide with the rising temps comes this tropical inspired photoshoot from our stop at the Crystal Gardens in Chicago with Intrigue Teaches. From lush greenery to bright flowers, scroll through to find your inspiration for a hot party this season…

The Crystal Gardens, in Chicago’s Navy Pier, are a hidden gem tucked right in the heart of the city. Their beautiful greenery set inside a glass atrium gave views right onto Lake Michigan. A perfect summer getaway destination!

In the center of it all, Heather Benge Events designed a tropical-inspired tablescape with just the right balance of bold and neutral hues. Our Bone Brookline, a linen-inspired fabric, set the base for the bright decor. We’re obsessed with the floral arrangement from Intrigue Designs! Shades of coral and red with Anthuriums galore sat among Birds of Paradise and Monstera Palm Fronds. The perfect arrangement for a summer wedding with tropical flavor! We love how the flowers tied in with our Tropical Maui Napkins, giving the whole design a destination-friendly vibe.

And it doesn’t stop there! From the lining on Emery Ann Design’s envelopes to the decor on Chicago Custom Cakes’ delicious cake, everything had a hot twist. Add to that our Palm Springs linen and a boho-inspired backdrop, from Boho Blush, and you’ve got just the right place for a cake cutting.

With all this tropical inspiration on the brain, we’re thinking this is the summer to go all in on the tropics. We’re ready to pick up the heat, how about you?

Bright Inspiration for Spring Wedding Flowers

It’s SPRING! With the change in temps came the bloom of flowers and we are dreaming in the colors of the season. From bright corals to deep fuchsias, the foliage this time of the year has us feeling more inspired than ever! It looks like we aren’t the only ones either. This gorgeous styled shoot from Styled Shoots Across America is on the same wavelength as us, scroll through to check out this perfectly seasonal set up!

Cator Woolford Gardens, in Atlanta, Georgia, set a beautiful backdrop for this shoot. With its trellised walkways and sweeping greens, it’s a dream wedding location. Heather Benge Events took advantage of the landscaped grounds to put together the loveliest lounge setting with furniture from Southern Vintage. We’re gushing over the pretty pink tufted velvet armchairs, just the place for newlyweds to celebrate their nuptials!

And how about that dining location? Nestled between stone columns and tucked underneath overgrown vines, it’s the most romantic little spot! We love how our Sage Plaster linen set the table with soft shades of green and taupe, giving florals by Intrigue Designs room to blossom! And blossom they did! The floral arrangement truly brought Spring feelings to life in lush, cascading shades of pink and orange. What joy!

We’re head over heels for the table top decor, delicate pieces from Tea and Old Roses that tied everything together. Lovely vintage china in matching shades of blush and mint mixed in with mother of pearl chargers and shiny gold flatware to give this tablescape a beautiful shimmer. Rose-colored glassware completed the look giving guests the perfect glasses to cheers with!

From the spring color palette to the garden setting, we’re falling head over heels from this one! And if you’re looking for more spring looks, check out this dreamy Los Angeles styled shoot and get ready to be inspired!

Adding Texture to your Event Design!

Whether it’s a wedding or a social celebration, the best events are really all about tantalizing the five senses. From the setting to the cocktails, you’ve thought of every last detail to make this event incredible, kudos to you! So you’ve hit sight, sound, taste and smell, but did you remember to include touch? If not, we’ve got you covered! From our super soft velvet-inspired Velluto collection to an array of voluminous ruffles and waves, there’s a linen out there for you. Here are three of our favorite ways to have your guests getting touchy-feely at the party…

Amp up the volume with our Blush Tulle Wave, our slightly softer take on our traditional Ruffle linen. The tulle fabric gives you all the perks of texture while adding a romantic feel to your tablescape. Petal Productions paired it with a beautiful arrangement of roses topped with antler adornment. The combination makes for a perfect balance of modern and whimsy!

If you’re looking for lasercut, our Rose Iris overlay from the Preston Bailey Collection is the perfect piece. The floral motif shines in its leather-look fabric with just the right amount of gloss. Smells Like Peonies Events paired it with an assortment of antique brass candleholders that cascaded down the table like a runner. And to keep the look minimal they used clear Kartell-inspired ghost chairs paired with textured pillows, to make guests feel extra comfortable at their seat.

And for the ultimate favorite feeling, let’s get the Velluto! Our softest style yet, it’s a velvet-inspired fabric that’ll have your guests running their hands over the tablecloth all night long. Heather Benge Events styled the Blush Velluto with our Snow Elizabeth Lace napkins just right for an outdoor soiree. We love how the florals played with monochromatic hues to really pop against the linen. *Swoon*

Whether you’re looking for volume in the way of ruffles and tulle, or something that will add a tactile element while laying flat, such as leather and velvet, there’s a linen out there to bring that fifth sense to the party. Your guests will be getting touchy-feely before they even realize it!

A Bright Spring Wedding in Northern Florida

You all know how much we LOVE South Florida…just last month we gushed over Key Largo and this beautiful event. But don’t get us wrong, we’re all about the north end of the state too. So let’s take a trip up to the state capital, Tallahassee, where Intrigue Teaches stopped off for a workshop and styled shoot earlier this year. Get ready for some majorly pretty inspiration…

We’re not exactly sure what to make of the Goodwood Museum and Gardens in Tallahasee, Florida except that it is stunning. From the beautiful grounds, lush with canopied trees, to the romantically rundown greenhouse, it’s the secret garden of our dreams. All that is before we even look at the house which counts not only the museum but also a covered porch that’s just the spot to enjoy an afternoon sunset.

Speaking of the porch, enjoy ourselves we did! Heather Benge Events, for Styled Shoots Across America, set up the sweetest table under the porch for newlyweds and friends to celebrate. The tabletop was set with our Yellow Papel Chino, a linen-inspired printed tablecloth that’s just perfect for the spring. Intrigue Designs paired it with a gorgeous arrangement of flowers in shades of white, yellow and just a hint of blush roses, really bringing to life a seasonal palette. We love how the colored glass rentals from John Gandy Events tied in with the florals making it all about the small details on this tabletop.

Lucky for us, Polished Arrow Photography captured every sweet moment for us to enjoy. From portraits in beautiful pink vintage chairs to more intimate moments shared under a delicate veil from Absolute Haven Bridal, this couple has us wanting to say “I Do” in North Florida!
