Riviera Marie Daâge Floraison Dinner Plate - Assorted Designs

Floraison, the French word for the season of bloom, is the inspiration for the three hand-painted flowers of the Riviera Marie Daâge Floraison Dinner Plates. One is a closed bud striped in cypress and celadon, one a hanging bloom with a latticed aqua heart, and one a cluster of leaves trailing fine stamens, with chartreuse running through all three. Conceived as an assortment, these unique pieces are meant to be mixed and matched from seat to seat around the table. The painters recompose each flower by hand, so even plates of the same design differ a little from one another. Each is painted freehand on Limoges porcelain and edged in 24-karat gold.
