Fall Wedding Inspiration at Central Park’s Belvedere Castle

With Labor Day behind us and fall right around the corner, we’re gathering our favorite chilly weather
inspiration and getting ready for Wedding season! We’re thinking cool colors and a city setting (much like this one) but this time right in the heart of Central Park.

This beautiful styled shoot, designed by Michelle Elaine Weddings, is one that just takes our breath away! This styled shoot was set at Central Park’s gorgeous Belvedere Castle and is the perfect New York City romance!

The elegant simplicity of this tabletop, set with our Silver Web overlay, is the perfect contrast to the
evergreen park setting! Paired with delicate tabletop pieces from La Terrine and pretty flowers in a nude
color palette, from Designs by Ahn, it creates a dreamy place for newlyweds to share a seat.

We love the antiqued silver accents and how they pair so nicely with the Lovely Bride wedding gown with
its dainty lace edge! And to top it all off, a delicious trio of macarons, from Macarons by Paulin, were the
perfect sweet treat to this photoshoot.

What a delicious way to kick off wedding season in New York City! And if you’re still looking for more,
here’s one more NYC wedding at Lincoln Center!

Inspirational Tips for a Timeless All White Wedding Design!

There’s something so timeless about a wedding designed with an all-white palette. The look, while classic for weddings can also be great for modern weddings and boho weddings too! So long as you make sure that you aren’t letting it fall a little…flat…all-white décor can set the tone for unique wedding accents and beautiful wedding flowers.

In the spirit of embracing a fresh white palette and seeing what kind of great wedding ideas can come from it, we’ve put together some of our top styling tips for an all-white wedding design! Scroll through to see what our team has to share and get inspired for your wedding!

White can be a great base for your event, use it across your tabletops to unify the space but consider mixing the styles and textures on different tables to add an interesting dimension to the room. If you have an overlay in the mix, consider using a solid linen to complement the other design.

If you prefer a uniform linen look, play with the tabletop accents instead! White linens can be a blank slate for patterned china, elaborate menu cards, napkins in elegant designs and bright colors and innovative floral arrangements. Or if you’re feeling really bold, how about bright red taper candles down the table? Let your creativity flow!

And it’s not just on the tabletop where you can have some fun, adding a diverse assortment of chairs to the décor elevates your wedding look without much effort. Consider specialty chair rentals or using chair covers for chiavari chairs in the mix. Combining a furniture piece, like our Ivory Sky Sofa, with chairs can also create an intimate dining experience for guests.

If you’re going for a minimalist modern wedding look, we love optic white accents! Consider using high-gloss pieces, like white acrylic vases or white acrylic chairs, to add an element of shine.

For a more boho wedding feel, white and wood are a perfect match. Wood can soften bright whites giving the night a rustic and romantic feel. Extra points for mixing in flickering candles and oversized crystals with this one!

If you’re looking to go on-trend, find rose gold accents to mix with your white tabletop. We’re very much into metallic rose gold chairs or shiny rose gold glassware for a simple but sophisticated combination this
season! A touch of rose gold on your dinner plates or chargers can add just the right amount of metallic.

Our all-time favorite piece of advice, no matter what wedding theme you’re going for, all-white décor is
timeless! You can take it through the seasons, use it indoors or outdoors and no matter what your venue. So have some fun with it, we promise you’ll come up with a beautiful all-white wedding design every time!

It’s a beautiful day at the W Hotel South Beach in Miami, FL! Don’t believe us? Just check out this gorgeous blush design set by The Creative Loft in their garden! We could hardly contain our excitement seeing this perfectly delicate yet deliciously lush setting, photographed by Alee Gleiber Photography, giving us major brunch inspiration (and you know how we love brunch!).

Summer Greenery Inspiration

On a sunny summer day there’s nothing more wonderful than stopping to smell the flowers and this styled shoot from Events by Elle shows this all too well!

With a greenhouse inspired space at Miami’s Little River Studios as a backdrop, Wedding Nature Photography captured stunning photos of this barefoot bride dream.

The dainty stationery suite, adorned with Papel and Co. calligraphy adds the perfect shade of blush to this neutral palette, set against our White Sand Tuscany linen.

And to flowers? Anthology Co. put together the loveliest arrangements to add a little touch of whimsy to the day.

Our absolute favorite thing of this inspirational shoot is the space created to share the couple’s “I Do’s.” With seating set by our oak chairs, and white pillar candles intertwined with ivy leading to a gorgeous ceremony space, it’s a fairytale location for a wedding!

Spring for Yellow this Spring!

The color yellow feels like a warm, sunny day. It feels like happiness. The color yellow makes us feel so good! It’s also a really amazing color to play with when it comes to design. We’ve said it before (here: when we were inspired by Pantone) and we’ll say it again, we are so into the color yellow, especially for spring weddings and events.

With thoughts of spring around the corner and bright colors ahead, we were thrilled when Emily Burton, of Emily Burton Designs, shared her Musgrove Plantation styled shoot with us.

This beautiful high-tea inspired shoot blended modern elements with the traditional backdrop of Musgrove Plantation, on St. Simons Island, Georgia for something totally unique and lots of fun!

We love how the table was set right on the dock, with the water all around to set the mood. The bold pattern, from our Yellow Lyon linen, contrasted against traditional gold china and vintage hobnail flower vases captivated our attention with all of the pretty to take in.

Oh, and those adorable mini cakes from Cathy Huber Cakes, had us abuzz with their tiny bee details! Set amidst gorgeous assorted yellow flowers from Gray Harper Events, the whole tabletop was aglow.

Tying everything together was the lovely paper suite from Foglio Press. Bright whites, loud yellows and pretty blues came together in a gorgeous floral motif made that much more fun by some cute calligraphy phrases, “Will you BEE my bridesmaid,” and “Crotchet this Way.”

Now, if we could just fast-forward to warm weather, blue skies and pretty yellow tea parties!

Versace, Versace, Versace

If you’ve ever found yourself enjoying a cool stroll down Ocean Drive in Miami’s South Beach, then you’ve certainly come across The Villa Casa Casuarina, or what is more commonly known as the Versace Mansion.

Versace 3

This incredibly grandiose property, built in the 1930s in a unique homage to Spanish architecture, has been a staple of the Miami Beach community for nearly 100 years. It has gone from private residence, to apartment condos, to Gianni Versace’s home (he is the one to thank for it’s beautiful gardens and pool), and now a 5-star hotel on the heart of the strip. It’s no secret that every Miami local has wanted to take a peek behind the walls of this luxury haven so when Nathalie Cadet-James, of Luxe Events, reached out to us for a styled shoot, we jumped right in!

Versace 4

With her incredible style and unique vision, we knew something stunning would come together. Direct from Nathalie’s blog, here’s how this masterpiece came together. “My passion is curating events and experiences that take one’s breath away. “How do you stay inspired Nathalie?” I am often asked. The answer is easy. I allow myself to dream. One night, I literally dreamt I had a bride who wanted a black and gold cake (It’s always about the sweets for me). I wondered, “Who is this girl? What would her story be? And how can I tell it? A clear vision of a styled shoot at the Versace Mansion came into view.  And. This. Is. It.”.

Versace 5

With a truly all-star team, Nathalie’s dream came to life. A black & gold cake from Dominique Couture Cakes pays homage to Gianni Versace and his beautiful home, chic matte black sequin allummettes and a contemporary combination of gold chair covers set the stylish tone of the afternoon and gorgeous flowers by Sprout Flowers add a delicate touch to the gilded design. Oooh, and that bride looks absolutely killer in her Berta Bridal wedding dress from Chic Parisien, as if she is right where she belongs. In true Miami fashion, this styled shoot is gold and shiny and just all around sexy. Definitely one to be remembered!
