Southern Magnolia Wedding

One afternoon, in search of Southern wedding inspiration, we delightfully stumbled upon this fairytale wedding and couldn’t help but squeal with delight. This unbelievable wedding, planned to perfection by the Social Office, literally took our breath away!

First things first, Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art in Nashville, Tennessee is kind of unreal. Its gorgeous grounds, lush with greenery and bursting with color, set a magical backdrop for the wedding. From there, Music City Tents & Events created a most unreal tent for the reception. With its delicate draping and sparkling chandeliers, you were transported to a gilded dream!

We love the mix of tables, a combination of family-style longs broken up with round tables dressed in our Gold Gardenia linen, all tied together with a rustic wooden chair.

And the flowers, oh my! The Tulip Tree’s gorgeous arrangements in shades of coral and ivory added a perfect touch of color to the tables. But the theme strung throughout the wedding? Magnolias! These Southern flowers, holding a special meaning for the couple, were used first in the paper suite, designed by Tenn Hens Design, later to create an incredible statement inside the tent and all the way to the end of the night, making an appearance as the couple drove off into the night.

Lucky for us, Kristy Hogan shot this unbelievable wedding in all of its Southern charm and sparkling glory for us to dream about for many seasons to come!
