Mix and Match design elements for an Instagrammable tablescape

We love when things get a little…kooky, so when Ashton Events shared this styled photoshoot with us we were absolutely in love! From wooden accents to velvet textures and a lot of things in between, they mix-and-matched this table top to Instagram-enviable levels. Scroll through to read all about it…

First things first, let’s set the table. Our Indigo Batik linen was the base for this look, giving it a very bohemian vibe for Ashton Events to play off of. To our delight, they paired it with our Floral Monet Napkin, creating a contrast of prints that looked just divine together.

Wanting to elevate an otherwise casual feeling linen, Ashton Events added in touches of gold from the ceremony space to the tabletop. From gold flatware to gilded-edge chargers and towering floral arrangements, it added just the touch of metal to give it that chic finish.

And the florals, how we loved those! In beautiful soft, pastel shades they played right in with the decor. Ashton Events designed an assortment of arrangements giving the design extra dimensionality. Two tall arrangements sat at the ends of the table with a low flower runner in between, tying the light corals and blush pinks of the flowers together just right!

The other thing that we were absolutely obsessed with? The mix of wood and rattan seating used at the table. From two accent chairs at the heads of the table to an assortment of vintage wooden chairs and a simple bench draped with a plush fur throw, not one detail was overlooked!

Whether it’s a wedding ceremony or an intimate dinner party, we love this look! It’s the perfect combination of boho and chic with the stunning loft background of Haus 820 (and you know how much we love an industrial space!). What’s your take – do you mix and match when you design?
